After consulting the "Chain Gang" at F650.com, I made the plunge to replace the battery on the F650 with an AGM model from batteryweb.com. I am pleased to report that the new battery went in without any modifications to the batteryholder or tray. I am further pleased to report that the new battery is fully-charged and ready to start the bike. Now to get well enough to ride it in to work one cold morning!
