« Nipote Rides Again | Main | Benelli »
I confess that I have not been riding much. Sure I have been taking the Trail90 to work almost every day, but I have not been riding since last I took the 851 up to Madrid for coffee. The Benelli is on its way from Florida according to Steve at Bevelheaven, who took time out of his vacation to arrange pickup and delivery of the Green Baby.
Family members are arriving and departing. SF brother arrives the 3rd and leaves the 6th. SisBlog leaves the 12th for Minnesota with nipote. NY brother and possibly my dad arrive on the 15th. On the 16th SisBlog returns. On the 19th, she leaves for Rome. On the 20th NY bro returns to the Big Apple with paterfamilias nostras in tow.
I dreamed about motorcycles last night. There were a couple of big Euro twins, a Guzzi and a BMW. Then an Aermacchi single sped by. I thought at first it might have been my Benelli, but I looked closer and saw the distinctive "collar" around the cylinder head.
We are still waiting to hear from the welding shop what it would take to get us in there. I think the whole idea of parting with it (much less dismantling the business) is tough for the seller since he grew up in that house and in that shop. But as long as the place does not get listed with a realtor we are first in line to make an offer. Or so I hope.
