« Sometimes You Just Gotta Live | Main | Italy, 1989: Part Three »
Lately life has been about crossing things off lists. Yesterday, after the exhilirating ride with N., I finished hanging the fluorescent lights in the garage. I systematically put bulbs in one fixture, turned on the power and moved on to the next. I got to the third fixture of four, and nothing. Off goes the circuit breaker, up go I on a ladder to see what the deal is. Loose wire to the fixture. Bulbs in again, power on, switch, and nothing. Ugh. I am getting tired, and am using the halogen worklight to work with. Off goes the circuit breaker again, up go I on a ladder again to see what the deal is. The other wire to the fixture is loose. This time, all is made tight and the light works.
The garage at nighttime is positively bathed in fluorescence.

what sort of exit strategy do you have if the flourescent lights start a civil war with the halogen ones?
